What is a battery trailer?
A battery trailer is a trailer with batteries, solar panels, inverters and an electrical system, with capacities ranging from 20 kWh to 120 kWh.
This battery trailer is charged via mains power, solar power or a generator, and can be powered by either 230V or 400V.
How long does it take to charge a battery trailer?
A battery trailer charges within a time frame of 2 to 5 hours, depending on the capacity chosen (which ranges from 20 kWh to 120 kWh). In addition, the charging time also depends on the number of amps supplied by the power source.
Can the battery trailer be charged with 230V?
Yes, that is certainly possible. However, it takes longer than with a 400V connection. The big advantage is that you are not dependent on a power connection.
However, you can use a 400V power supply even if you charge with 230V.
Is the battery trailer suitable as a power supply on a construction site?
Sure enough, the battery trailer is ideally suited for use on a construction site, for example as a temporary replacement for a construction power connection.
